The Christmas season is well and truly upon us now and things are hotting up in the alkamy kitchen making sure that we have enough stock to see us through the various upcoming Christmas markets and fairs.
It was kicked off with the first Shopping Evening hosted at St Cuthberts Primary School in North Shields and a big thank you to all who turned up to the event to support the school after braving the cold for the carol service and switching on of the lights in Northumberland Sq.
Next it was off to the beautiful Vallum Farm for their Christmas Fair and Market. It was such a well organised day, so thanks to Katie and her team for the great job that they did. It was very well attended and got to meet some wonderful new customers who were very complimentary about the product range, and hearing that makes all the hard work truly worthwhile. This weekend I will be supporting a local school fair, Whitley Lodge First School, Whitley Bay, which is open to all and is always very well supported. Then Saturday and Sunday will be spent at Jesmond Dene for the second Christmas Market. There will be Santa and his grotto, donkey rides and numerous stalls with food and gifts from local producers. It starts at 10am and runs until 3pm - find us next to Pet's Corner. There will be special offers across the range and also a Christmas Gift box available at a discount on individual prices. Fingers crossed my card reader arrives on time too!
Better sign off - those candles won't make themselves! ka
